Have you ever felt like you could use a little something to reclaim that sexy feeling? We have! We had heard of and seen waist beads and honestly thought perhaps it wasn't for us. Well, were we wrong! After we wrapped our individual hand-beaded and crocheted waist beads around our waists we got a little shimmy and pep in our steps.
In Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, and other West African countries, waist beads are a symbol of femininity, fertility, sensuality, and spiritual well-being. They can also be used to provide a subtle indication of weight loss or gain.
These are wrap waist beads one size fits most. They are made with S-Lon thread, cotton thread, and glass beads.
